IyF - 35 - Narnia
The gift of Narnia? Yes, Narnia was gifted as a birthday present for Charlotte Bartlett and Neil Robinson by themselves, along with BackpackLife Loon, Prad Prathivi and Spike Linden. It was created to exist for a week only, but Nika Dreamscape, Chugabug Goodnight, and I visited it and captured some of the magic on video ourselves. Arri Gaffer tried to make an appearance too, but he was on a severely bandwidth limited connection. Like, he’d fly across the sim before he even saw his avatar lift off.

“I agree with you about the fake cops, but OTOH, it’s not clear what good ARing griefers does. They have nothing invested in the SL accounts they use to grief. “I don’t get the whole SL Police thing, either. I was out exploring one day and came across a police station with 2 of them inside.. I stood around outside for a couple minutes trying to figure out if they were serious or not, and they actually came out and asked if I needed help, kind of implying that I should ‘move along’. The whole thing baffles me, but here’s a funny video I found on Youtube of an SL police force in training, and a griefer comes along.

Itazura Radio, Nika Dreamscape, Chugabug Goodnight, and myself meet in the Destination Station and babble on a long time. I do some listener feedback. Chug takes us on a long walk. And some other stuff thrown in for good measure, I think. Or maybe not. Who knows?

After much resistance, Keeme and Nika both caved and joined Plurk, after abandoning Twitter. In fact, Keeme created a new group for the plurkers of SL. Search in groups for PLURKAZOIDS, or IM either Keeme or Nika for an invite. We will be moving the group to subscribe-o-matic very soon, so as not to take up people’s group spots. The idea of the group is to organize parties and meet-ups within SL, and to just have fun.

Radar gets schooled by Scottlo Scorbal. Chug gets greenie with… certainly not envy. Not for my podcast anyway. Nika wants to help, but it’s just too much. And more, or less.

May seems to be the month of Rez Days- most of the SL podcasters all came into SL within the same couple of weeks of one another, May 2006. We celebrated Chugabug Goodnight’s rez day, and Keeme had his as well. The usual banter and verbal sparring. Keeme may not be the best cook, but he gets an A for effort.

This week, Keeme and Nika visited Zoe Connolly of the SL Blogger community at her airfield in Caledon. She was very gracious and gave us a tour of the airfield, showed off some of her aircrafts, and even gave a few to Keeme.
