In second life, you can find people who run the gamut from doing fantastic, impossible (in RL) things to those who settle for the more mundane, rarely breaking out of a RL styled existence aside from the obvious teleports and flying sprees. This time I talk to various notable citizens to find out what’s their idea of sensible and crazy in a virtual world where anything is possible. Do they want to inject the real into the unreal, or the other way around?

IyF - 38 - SLPN Building Dies
After the SL Under the Radar live recording on Sat the 19th, the SLPN building on Nowhereville was destroyed. Stuart Warf turned it physical, and the rubble was history. Not that I’m complaining, but I got hit in the head a couple times. Maybe someone should make warning stickers stating that falling buildings are dangerous. How was I supposed to know?

Crap Mariner brought some toys to Podcast Island to show us… Ok, so, maybe voting robot’s not such a great idea. I mean, he barely got 50 meters off the ground, if that! Oh, and his driving? Not so hot. Oh well. Considering I haven’t seen the martian in awhile, Crap’s probably a “shoe”-in. Little… female robot.. fashion joke…
IyF - 35 - Narnia
The gift of Narnia? Yes, Narnia was gifted as a birthday present for Charlotte Bartlett and Neil Robinson by themselves, along with BackpackLife Loon, Prad Prathivi and Spike Linden. It was created to exist for a week only, but Nika Dreamscape, Chugabug Goodnight, and I visited it and captured some of the magic on video ourselves. Arri Gaffer tried to make an appearance too, but he was on a severely bandwidth limited connection. Like, he’d fly across the sim before he even saw his avatar lift off.

“I don’t get the whole SL Police thing, either. I was out exploring one day and came across a police station with 2 of them inside..
