“Our PlantPets are interactive plants which can grow and express happiness if you take care for them. Each copy has its own behavior depending on how much attention it gets from its owner. It consists of a changeable pot, soil, an optional moisture meter stuck into the soil, and the actual plant which is temporary rezzed above the pot and gets refreshed once in a minute. You add water to the pot by a menu, and the plant grows according to the moisture level and the specified speed of growth. In any case, the growth of a plant is slow and normally you should allow at least a couple of minutes before you see visible change.”

This episode I’ve recorded two readings from Hans Christian Andersen. First reading will be “The Princess on the Pea”.
In between the two stories, I’ve chosen to share a little bit about The Giant Snail Races, hosted by RacerX Gullwing on my “SL Travel Log”. This very popular Second Life event is televised by SLCN TV (in SL) every Saturday morning, at 11am Pacific time (SLT). You can also look at past races on the SLCN.tv archives at http://www.slcn.tv/giant-snail-races. The Giant Snail Races are narrated by SLCN’s Wiz Norberg and other giant snail racing enthusiasts.
Then a reading of “The Days of the Week” by Hans Christian Andersen. Read more
