Hey, guys, couple quick comments on this ep. I’ve seen the ghosts as well, even as far back as a year ago. It’s quite funny.
As far as whether it’s your client or the other person’s client when they look funny or are a cloud or whatever, it’s not always the viewing person’s client. Sometimes it is the “messed up” person’s client. Remember your computer is sending information to and getting information from the server. A lot of times you can tell when someone’s on a slow connection because they keep rezzing in ruthed (clouded?) and taking time to bake and stuff. It does work both ways.
Also, on OpenSim, remember you’ll need badass bandwidth to make the sim useable, as well as the fact that most people running openSim aren’t going to advance the technology such as LL have done. Companies like IBM might, but just because joe blow runs opensim doesn’t mean people won’t need LL to keep pushing the technology until these other companies take over the technology development.
